My Real Estate Broker’s license was obtained in 1994 after taking the required brokers courses. After joining Duffus Realty, Better Homes & Gardens in 1995, I had extensive training daily from Mr. Jack Duffus, our Broker in Charge. In 1996 I attended classes in Greensboro, Raleigh, and Wilmington, North Carolina and graduated from the Realtor Institute and received the GRI rating. After this in 1997 to 2003 I attended several courses offered by BH&G and GMAC Real Estate which Duffus Realty was affiliated with during this period.
In 2002 our Broker-in-Charge, Col. Jack Duffus passed away, and left the running of the business to his wife, Anne Stott Duffus, until her passing.
After 4 years away from the business, I rejoined the family business now being run by Jack’s Daughter, Charlene Nielsen and Anne’s Son, Liles Stott, Broker-in-Charge.
It is great to be back with a company with very high ethical standards, and a true Customer Service approach in the Real Estate business.
